Kelly (MAPS) is the founder and principal psychologist of Wild Shadow Psychology and a board-approved supervisor with nearly 20 years’ experience in psychology and human services. She has worked across community and private sectors, both in Australia and internationally, providing therapy, supervision, consultation, training, and program development. With a deep understanding of family and systemic trauma, Kelly brings insight and care to complex challenges.

She specialises in trauma, addiction, disordered eating and body image, self-harm, relationship difficulties, life transitions, depression, and anxiety. Committed to a neuro-affirming, anti-oppressive approach, she creates an inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and all relationship structures. Passionate about uncovering the root of struggles, she helps clients create meaningful, lasting change.

Kelly draws on psychodynamic principles and a range of evidence-based modalities, integrating Schema Therapy, IFS, EMDR, CBT, Mindfulness, ACT, and somatic therapy. Her warm, practical, and relational style fosters a space where clients feel understood, supported, and free to be their authentic selves.

She is also trained in psychedelic-assisted therapy, offering integration support for challenging experiences. A strong advocate for innovative approaches, she incorporates yoga and breathwork into therapy and is a qualified yoga teacher. Additionally, she is accredited to deliver the Safe and Sound Protocol, a therapeutic listening intervention designed to support emotional and nervous system regulation.

Guided by values of authenticity, integrity, growth, compassion, and creativity, Kelly creates a safe and transformative space for healing and self-discovery. When she’s not in the therapy room, you’ll find her exploring the wild, tending to her plants, listening to music, or diving into her own shadow work.
